Further information

In 2008, the Protestant Church of Geneva (EPG) decided to demolish the Temple de la Roseraie, built in 1 961. The parish had not used the church for a long time and had therefore let it successively to the Portuguese Adventist Church, the Italian Evangelical Mission and an organisation refugee aid organisation. A large housing complex offering affordable accommodation now stands on the site of the church. The income from renting these flats is expected to help reduce the Geneva Church’s debt of 5.2 million francs.
