Further information

The Evangelical Reformed parish of Ebnat-Kappel owns two churches and has decided to sell the one located in the hamlet of Kappel. This was sold in July 2014 for 230,000 francs to the private entrepreneur Ralf-André Keller, who intends to turn it into a cultural and community centre. Despite strong emotions in the run-up to the vote, 170 parishioners voted in favour of the sale, with 73 against. The parish now uses the church in Ebnat for its services.
